YOUR HOSTS

Thunder Pipe Lodge is proudly owned and operated by Jamie Saville, his spouse Amanda, and their children—an Indigenous family with deep ancestral roots in the Temagami area. They are passionate about honoring and practicing their Aboriginal rights and traditions, which have been passed down through generations.

Jamie holds a wealth of traditional knowledge about the land and waterways that his ancestors have traveled since time immemorial. His deep connection to drumming, song, and cultural teachings has been passed on to his children, who proudly dance in their traditional regalia at powwows and cultural gatherings.

Amanda plays an essential role in supporting the family and helping maintain a balanced, holistic way of life. Her dedication is key to the family’s ability to thrive and continue sharing their heritage.

Together, they offer a warm, welcoming environment grounded in respect—for the land, the water, and all guests—ensuring your stay is both meaningful and memorable.
