Experience THUNDERPIPE LODGE

Towering trees reach for the sky over Lake Temagami, a region renowned for its pristine wilderness and world-class canoe routes. Here, among one of the world’s last remaining old-growth white pine forests, you can connect with the land and the healing spirit of over 6,000 years of Teme-augama Anishnabai cultural heritage.

Your home base, Thunderpipe Lodge, is nestled within the Bear Island Settlement of the Teme-augama Anishinaabe - Deep Water People (Temagami First Nation), on N'Daki Menan- (Our Land), on Lake Temagami.

Surrounded by ancient forests and the haunting call of loons, you'll experience nature in its purest form. Our off-grid bunkie cabins invite you to unplug and embrace the deep stillness of the wilderness—a time for renewal, peace, and harmony.

Spend your evening paddling along the lakeshore, casting a line, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Temagami, or simply enjoying the warmth of a campfire under the stars. Later, retreat to your cozy bunkie cabin and drift off to sleep, soothed by the gentle rhythm of water lapping at the shore.
